This online poster is designed to target Grade 4 Social Studies. In particular it addresses the Provinces, Territories and Regions Unit.
Positives: I personally enjoyed the format and set up of the Glog website. It was easy to quickly figure out. With no previous experience with this site, it was easy to change the colours, upload pictures and insert text. When you add pictures and video, you can directly access YouTube and Google - both sites are contained within the upload window so there is no need to search in another internet tab. I found this super convenient! The bank of images and different backgrounds available for use was immense and allows its users to be creative with their poster creation.
Negatives: There was only two challenges when it came to using Glogster to create a poster online. First, it was important that you constantly saved your work for the program did not save it as you go as many other sites I have engaged with in technology class have. Secondly, at times some of the text and image boxes were harder to rotate and move around the poster, especially if they were animated.
